Taiwan

Overview Taiwan, officially the Republic of China (ROC), is an East Asian republic. It is situated in the northwestern Pacific Ocean, at the confluence of the East and South China Seas, with the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to the northwest, Japan to the northeast, and the Philippines to the south.

Overview Egypt is a North African country that borders the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Libya, the Gaza Strip, and Sudan are all neighbours. Egypt includes the Sahara Desert, the Libyan Desert, and the Nile River, which flows from south to north.

China

Overview China, with a land area of 9.6 million square kilometres, is located in eastern Asia on the western shore of the Pacific Ocean. China’s continental coastline stretches for around 18,000 kilometres, and its huge sea surface is dotted with over 5,000 islands, the largest of which are Taiwan and Hainan.

Myanmar

Overview Myanmar is the largest country in mainland Southeast Asia in terms of land area, with a diversified population of 56.6 million people. Myanmar’s peace, security, and stability are critical for the Indo-Pacific region, as it borders China, India, Thailand, Bangladesh, and Laos.

Cambodia

Overview Cambodia is located on the Indochina peninsula’s southwestern coast. It shares a 2,615-kilometer border with Vietnam (1,270 kilometres), Thailand (805 kilometres), and Laos (540 kilometres). It has an area of 181,035 square kilometres, which is roughly half the size of Japan.

Seychelles

Overview Seychelles is an island country in the Indian Ocean that consists of 115 islands. It is located east of mainland Africa, with Madagascar being the closest neighbour. The geography is made up of thin coastal strips and core mountain ranges.
