Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi and Transfer to Haridwar

Your Teen Dham Yatra has begun! After arriving at Delhi Airport or the train station, you will be met by a representative from Tourism of India. He will drive you from Delhi to Haridwar, which will take about 4 to 5 hours. When you arrive, you will complete the check-in procedures and relax for a moment. Following that, you will experience Haridwar sightseeing, which will involve visiting the devout Ganga Aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri. Return to the hotel and spend the night.

Day 2 - Haridwar to Barkot

Breakfast is served before departing from Haridwar for Barkot. This approximately 8-hour excursion will feature stunning sites that you would wish to see and photograph. When you arrive, check into your hotel and relax. Stay in Barkot for the night.

Day 3 - Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot

After a hearty breakfast, ride 36 kilometres (one way) to Hanuman Chatti. You will drive local jeeps to Janki Chatti and begin your 7-kilometer (one-way) hike to Yamunotri Ji. You can also rent a horse at your own expense. Stay for the darshan of the saintly Yamunotri Ji and then drive back to Barkot. Get into bed for a good night's sleep.

Day 4 - Barkot - Uttarkashi

Day 4 of the Badrinath Gangotri Yamunotri Yatra begins with a nutritious breakfast. Check out and go on to your next destination, Uttarkashi (4 hours). When you arrive, you will finish the check-in process and then relax for a while. We will take you to Vishwanath Temple, Goddess Kuteti Devi, Gyaneshwar, Ekadash Rudra, and Bhairav Temple in the evening. After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel for a restful night's sleep.

Day 5 - Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi

After a delicious breakfast, depart for Gangotri Ji Darshan (3 hours). Stop along the trip in Harsil Village and the Bhagirathi River to take in the spectacular Himalayan views. Seek blessings at Gangotri before being helped back to Uttarkashi, where you will spend the night.

Day 6 - Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag

After breakfast, check out and drive 6 hours to Rudraprayag. When you arrive, check into your hotel and relax. You will visit Rudranath and Chamunda Devi Temples in the evening. Pay your respects at the Koteshwar Temple as well. Return to your accommodation with a cheerful attitude after your temple tour.

Day 7 - Rudraprayag - Badrinath

After breakfast and check out, a 7-hour trip will take you from Rudraprayag to Badrinath via Joshimath. When you arrive, check into your hotel and relax. As the sun sets, go to Badrinath Temple for darshan and seek heavenly blessings. After that, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Badrinath - Joshimath

Eat breakfast first thing in the morning. Continue your Teen Dham Yatra with a visit to the Badrinath Temple. Visit Badrivishal and take a soak at Tapt Kund. After that, visit Brahma Kapal, Bhimkund, Charan Paduka, Mata Murti, Vyas Gufa, Mana Village, and the source of the Saraswati River in Badrinath. Continue the trip to Joshimath (about 3 hours) after the tour. Check in and relax at the hotel upon arrival.

Day 9 - Joshimath - Rishikesh

Get up early, check out, and go to Narsingh Temple and Shankaracharya Math. You will then be taken to Rishikesh, the World Yoga Capital. When you arrive, check into your hotel and retire for the day.

Day 10 - Rishikesh - Delhi

Depart for Guptkashi after a healthy breakfast. This location is well-known for the Vishwanath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Ardhanareeswara, the fabled body composed of half Parvati and half Shiva. Stop for darshan at Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Ardhneshwar Mahadev along the way. Check into the Guptkashi hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11 - Guptkashi - Phata - Kedarnath ji - Phata

After breakfast, check out and drive to Phata, where you will see the Kedarnath Temple. After arriving, seek Lord Shiva's blessings at Kedarnath Temple and also visit Shankaracharya Samadhi. Return to Phata to check into the hotel and spend the night.

Day 12 - Phata - Jyotirmath - Badrinath

Begin your day with breakfast and then proceed to the final Dham, Badrinath. Visit Jyotirmath on the way. Pay your respects to the Narasimha Temple, the Shankaracharya Temple, and the Pandukeshwar (Yogdhyan Badri). Once there, visit the sites of Badrinath, such as Vyas Cave, Ganesha Caves, and the Saraswati River. Later in the day, walk the Vishnu Sahastranamavali Path. After the tour, check into your accommodation and get some rest.

Day 13 - Badrinath - Srinagar

Get up early to participate in Mahaabhishek Puja. After a hearty breakfast, depart for Srinagar, Uttarakhand. Stop along the way at Karnaprayag, Vishnuprayag, and Nandprayag (three river confluences of the Alaknanda). After arriving, check into the hotel for a restful night's sleep.

Day 14 - Srinagar - Shivpuri - Rishikesh

Check out and depart from Srinagar for Rishikesh after breakfast. This will be your final trip, but on the way, stop via Shivpuri and see Vashisht Cave. It belonged to Vashishta, one of the seven great sages, and is ideal for meditation. Visit Sivananda Ashram if you want to practise yoga or Ayurveda. Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula are two of Rishikesh's most popular attractions. Witness the spectacular Ganga aarti at Parmarth Niketan in the evening. After the aarti, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 15 - Departure from Delhi

Check out of the hotel and drive to Delhi after a leisurely breakfast. This is your final day at Chardham in India. From there, board a flight or train to your next destination with a smile on your face and memories to last a lifetime.

Which is more challenging, the Yamunotri or the Gangotri?
Yamunotri is the first and most difficult of the four dhams. Although it is located at a lower elevation than the other dhams, the narrow and packed pathway makes reaching the temple difficult.
Is the journey to Yamunotri difficult?
Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna river and is located at an elevation of 3,293 metres above sea level. The Yamunotri hike begins at Janki Chatti and takes in breathtaking vistas of waterfalls, mountains, and forests. The hike is difficult and demands good fitness and preparedness.
Can we take bath in Yamunotri?
