Begin a spiritual journey from Delhi with Char Dham Yatra and observe the holy side of the country. For Hindus, the Char Dham Yatra is one of the holy pilgrimages. The sacred yatra is also known as the ‘Teerth Yatra,’ and devotees from all across the country hope to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime trip. The Char Dham refers to four holy temples: Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Kedarnath to Lord Shiva, and Gangotri and Yamunotri to the Ganga and Yamuna rivers, respectively.

Day 1 - Delhi to Haridwar by road

The sacred tour begins in Delhi and ends in Haridwar. Get your biometric registration for the Yatra done on the way to Haridwar. After arriving at Haridwar, complete the hotel check-in procedures and rest. Refreshment will help you get through the journey tiredness. Prepare to be enchanted by the mesmerising Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges in the evening. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and a good night's sleep.

Day 2 - Drive from Haridwar to Barkot

On the second day, you will be taken to Barkot (Jankichatti) in the early morning. Barkot is a beautiful hill station at the base of Yamunotri. You can stop by the famed Kempty Falls on way. When you arrive in Barkot, check into your hotel or camp. Relax and enjoy some delicious meals before embarking on the Yamunotri pahadi yatra the next day. Enjoy dinner at night and recover from your journey exhaustion with a restful night's sleep at the hotel.

Day 3 - Trip Barkot– Yamunotri – Barkot

Begin your day with a healthy meal before heading to Yamunotri Dham. From Janki Chatti, you will begin the first Pahad Char Dham Yatra of Yamunotri, a nearly 6-kilometer journey. Don't worry, you may also hire palki, ponies, or a horse (at your own expense).
The journey to Yamunotri passes through a lush green valley surrounded by numerous varieties of Himalayan shrubs, conifers, rhododendrons, cactus, and other plants. Yamunotri is the westernmost shrine of the Char Dhams, located in the Bandarpunch range at an elevation of roughly 3,291 m. It is also the source of the Yamuna River. After arriving in Yamunotri at lunchtime, take a holy dip in the Yamuna River before proceeding to the darshan. Return to Janki Chatti by the same route you took to go to the hotel after Darshan. Later, crawl into your comfortable bed for a good night's sleep.

Day 4 - Drive towards Uttarkashi

After a filling breakfast the next morning, check out of the motel. You will be transported to Uttarkashi today. The town is known for its ancient monuments, temples, ashrams, and magnificent scenic splendour and is located on the banks of the river Bhagirathi. After arriving, check into the hotel and relax. Later in the evening, pay a visit to the well-known Vishwanath Temple. Enjoy your meal and relax into your fantasy world.

Day 5 - A Round trip to Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Begin your day with a filling breakfast. You will be moved to Gangotri Dham today. Gangotri is a Hindu pilgrim town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and the source of the holy Ganges. At an elevation of roughly 3048 metres, this Dham is nestled in the lap of the picturesque Garhwal Himalayas range. After arriving in Gangotri, take a holy dip in the Ganges and then visit the Gangotri Temple. The temple was built in the 18th century and is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. The gorgeous temple is composed of white marble and has a 20-foot-high construction.Drive back to Uttarkashi after the holy darshan and puja. After dinner, crawl into your warm bed for a good night's sleep.

Day 6 - Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Enjoy your excellent meal while greeting the early morning sun. Prepare to travel to your next destination, Guptkashi. This lovely village is around 47 km from the holy site of Kedarnath. The town has eternal religious value because it is home to well-known historical temples including Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. When you arrive, finish your check-in procedures and relax. Get a medical checkup for your upcoming pilgrimage to Kedarnath. Enjoy a nice dinner and a good night's sleep.

Day 7 - A trip to Sonprayag – Kedarnath

After a filling breakfast the next morning, check out of the motel. You will be transported to Sonprayag today. After arriving in Sonprayag, you will begin your amazing 20-kilometer trek to Kedarnath Dham. Those who are unable to complete such a long walk may hire a Doli, ponies, or horses (at their own expense). During the journey, the Kedarnath Yatra provides the most magnificent views. The Mandakini River is the main tributary of the Ganges, which flows from Kedarnath to Gaurikund. The mood is incredible during the yatra, with chanting of "Jai Bholenath" and "Har Har Mahadev" echoing in the mountains. After arriving, check into one of the government camps or lodges at Kedarnath and wait till the next morning for Mahadeva's darshan. Enjoy a great dinner and spend the night in Kedarnath at one of the government camps/lodges.

Day 8 - The holy Darshan of Kedarnath

Greet the next day and prepare for the most anticipated event, Kedarnath Ji's heavenly darshan. Get up early, bathe, and go to the temple by 4:45 a.m. for Abhishek to Lord Kedarnath. Inside the Garbha Griha, devotees are permitted to touch the idol. You can also bow while touching your head to the idol. Return to the Govt. Camps / Lodges after you have completed your holy darshan of Kedarnath Ji. Return to Sonprayag after some relaxation and checking your stuff. You will be transported to your accommodation in Guptkashi/ Rudraprayag after you arrive. Overcome travel tiredness by getting some rest at the hotel.

Day 9 - Trip to Badrinath via Joshimath

After a hearty breakfast, check out of the hotel at 8:00 a.m. the following morning. You will be transferred to the Badrinath shrine today via Joshimath. Badrinath is one of the most important pilgrimage places for both Hindus and Buddhists. The Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located at a height of approximately metres. The route to Badrinath via Joishmat is picturesque and provides a unique experience. When you arrive in Badrinath, check into your accommodation and rest. Prepare to visit Badrinath Temple for darshan and aarti later in the evening, but first head to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) to take a bath before proceeding to the temple. Shri Badrinath Ji's temple is roughly 15 metres tall and designed in the shape of a cone with a little cupola of a gilded bull and spire. Later, return to the hotel, enjoy dinner, and sleep soundly.

Day 10 - Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

Begin your day with a hot spring bath before heading to Badrinath Temple for Darshan and morning aarti. Later, return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. Prepare to experience a local sightseeing trip in Badrinath after breakfast. Visit the key Badrinath attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. After sightseeing, check out of your hotel and make your way to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. On the way, stop by Karanprayag, which has a significant religious importance. After arriving at Rudraprayag, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the town, go shopping, or just relax at the hotel. Return to the hotel for a good night's sleep after an exciting day.

Day 11 - A trip to "Yoga Capital of the World", Rishikesh

Welcome the early morning sun, eat a nice breakfast, check out of the accommodation and go to Rishikesh. This settlement is situated in the Himalayan foothills, near the confluence of the rivers Ganga and Chandrabhaga. This city is well-known for its adventure activities despite its religious significance. After arriving in Rishikesh, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you will complete the check-in formalities and rest. Later, prepare for Rishikesh tourism by visiting Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Attend the magnificent Ganga Aarti later in the evening, which is one of the nicest things to do in town. The ritual done on Rishikesh's Ghat is breathtaking. Return to the hotel for a good night's sleep after an exciting day.

Day 12 - The Tour Concludes

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before completing your check-out procedures. You will be taken back to Delhi once your Chardham Yatra by road complete. When you arrive in Delhi, you will be taken to the Railway Station / Airport for your return journey.
