Ladakh

Ladakh is approximately 45,000 square miles (117,000 square kilometres) in size and encompasses the Ladakh Range, a southeastern extension of the Karakoram Range, and the upper Indus River basin. Ladakh is one of the world’s highest regions. Its natural features are primarily high plains and deep valleys.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are divided in the middle by a 10 degree channel. Great Nicobar, the southernmost island, lies only 150 km from Sumatra, Indonesia. Indira Point on Great Nicobar Island is India’s southernmost point. Andaman and Nicobar Islands’ capital is Port Blair.

West Bengal

West Bengal is India’s fourth-most populated and thirteenth-largest state by area, as well as the world’s eighth-most populous country subdivision. It borders Bangladesh in the east and Nepal and Bhutan in the north as part of the Indian subcontinent’s Bengal region.

Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand, a Himalayan state in northern India, is well-known for its Hindu pilgrimage sites. The Beatles’ 1968 visit to Rishikesh, a significant centre for yoga studies, made the city renowned. The evening Ganga Aarti, a spiritual gathering on the sacred Ganges River, is held in the city.

Tripura

The climate is tropical savanna, with seasonal heavy rains from the south west monsoon. More than half of the land is covered by forest, with bamboo and cane tracts frequent. Tripura is home to the most primate species of any Indian state.

Telangana

The state has a land area of 1,12,077 square kilometres and a population of 3,50,03,674 people (2011 Census). From September 17, 1948 to November 1, 1956, the Telangana area was a part of the Hyderabad state, until it was combined with Andhra State to establish Andhra Pradesh.

Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu is a southern Indian state. It encompasses more than 50,200 square miles (130,000 square kilometres). Tamils make up the bulk of the state’s population, and Tamil is the official language. The state’s capital, Chennai, is an industrial centre, but the state is primarily agrarian.
